About us
Center for Intercultural Biblical Studies
Who we are
Center for Intercultural Biblical Studies is a nonprofit developing digital Bible content that crosses cultures. Through Logos Answers and Fluent Bible Academy, we reach seekers and train disciples in their own language.
Our purpose
Why this work matters
We live in a world where information is more accessible than ever, yet millions of people still struggle to find clear, trustworthy answers about God and His Word. Many are searching for truth, while others are seeking to grow in their faith and teach others, but quality biblical education is not always available or accessible in the language they understand best.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to encounter the story of Jesus and engage with the truth of Scripture, regardless of where they live or what language they speak.
Through digital resources, global partnerships with missionaries and translators, and thoughtful use of modern technology, we are making rigorous Bible teaching available across cultures and languages. The resources are freely accessible to anyone seeking to know God or grow as a disciple of Christ. From this site, visitors can explore resources for those searching for answers about God as well as resources designed to equip disciples to understand Scripture and teach it well.
Our mission is to develop digital content that tells the story of Jesus across cultures and trains disciples to teach the Bible well. Our vision is to see rigorous and free Bible education flourish in every culture, engaging disciples and nonbelievers alike through the transforming power of the Gospel.
This work is made possible through churches and individuals who believe in the importance of making disciples and teaching God's truth. Together, we are using the opportunities of our connected world to make biblical education accessible to anyone who wants to seek, learn, grow, and share the hope of the Gospel.
Leadership

Executive Director
Scott Ihle
Scott founded Logos Answers to help people searching for truth find real answers and, ultimately, find God. He later established Fluent Bible Academy to make rigorous Bible teaching freely available across cultures and languages. Both platforms are designed to communicate biblical truth in people’s own languages, making sound Bible teaching more accessible across cultural and linguistic boundaries. Drawing on his experience in secular, independent, and corporate business, as well as product development, Scott brings both practical and ministry experience to this work. He holds a B.A. in Theology from Bear Valley Bible Institute and is completing his Master of Divinity at Freed-Hardeman University in 2026. His teaching and mission experience spans India, the Philippines, Guyana, Honduras, Ghana, Kenya, Cambodia, and Mongolia. As Executive Director, he provides leadership for content development and teaching across both platforms. Scott currently serves full-time as the Senior Minister at Westbury church of Christ, where he and his family worship and serve.
Communications Director
Alexis Ihle
Alexis directs communications for Intercultural Bible, overseeing messaging, partner updates, and the systems that keep the work moving. She has managed operations and production for a global supply chain company, facilitated high-volume B2B sales communication for a premier industrial supplier, and steered operational compliance, finances, and education for a nationally respected premium early-education franchise. That background is what allows her to meet the demands and growth of a global mission work. She now serves full-time, supporting the Executive Director.

Board Members & Oversight
Our board is made up of faithful Christian men who serve actively within their own church communities. Both have walked alongside Scott and Alexis for years in ministry, and that long-standing relationship shapes the trust and accountability behind this work. Alongside the board, the organization is overseen by Christian supporters who hold the work accountable to sound doctrine and faithful stewardship.
